Of the three Series 1923 large-size Silver Certificates produced, the Woods & Tate signature variety is the key note needed to complete the set. Only about 600 examples of the Fr.239, in all grades, have been reported to the census, vs approaching 8000 of the Fr.238 and over 17000 of the Fr.237.

This note has exceptional color and strong embossing; a Gem but for a light center fold.
