Limited Edition Low Number BEP $5 Premium District Set
1999 $5 Premium 12-District Federal Reserve Note Set, SN1884

This set contains the new "Big-Head" 1999 Series $5 note from each of the 12 Federal Reserve Banks with matched serial numbers 1884 (B_00001884A, apart from the Federal Reserve prefix change). The new five dollar design was issued on May 24, 2000. These $5 notes were the lowest serial numbers made available to the general public. The first five District notes, Boston through Richmond, were printed in Washington, DC and the remaining seven at Ft. Worth, TX.

The $5 Premium Federal Reserve Set is expertly bound into an attractive 24-page book in a matching slipcase, with each note protected with an acid-free sleeve. Included in the set is a Certificate of Authenticity with the signatures of the Treasurer of the United States, Mary Ellen Withrow and the Director of the B.E.P., Thomas A. Ferguson. The COA certifies that this is a genuine limited edition issue of only 2000.

The notes are GemCU and the packaging is also in excellent condition, as issued. The original issue price charged by the Bureau of Engraving and Printing was $475.
