An issued and signed note of The Bank of Tekama In Burt County, dated September 1, 1857, serial Number 1766. Close to Extremely Fine, with three vertical folds and a corner fold. There is a stamp hinge in each top corner on the back that has not caused any impairment to the paper and are not visible on the front.

The vignettes feature high quality engravings of a Native American theme. The signatures are bold and complete. A very nice circulated example of a pre-war issue.
