1862 $100 CSA "Hoeing Cotton" Note, Sept. 6, 1862, AU, with Interest Paid stamp. Curiously, the preprinted ink stamp has the payment date of January 1, 1863 changed by hand to 1865. A more logical deduction as to the reason for this could be assumed if the change had been from or to 1864.
