An interesting item for the military collector? This note was perhaps saved by a Navy man as his first pay as an officer in 1923. He wrote: "My first professional pay. One day's work as an Ensign at Fox Film Corp., N.Y.C. Dick Barkee 4-23-23" Or was he an actor playing a navy officer? Potentially a fun item to research for someone with the time to devote to it.

The note is a nice Fine/Very Fine, but has some foreign matter on the front. It appears superficial, but perhaps best left alone rather than attempting to remove it.
