1928 $500 Chicago Federal Reserve Note, Damaged.

This note is the scarcer first 1928 Series small-size $500 denomination that contains the "redeemable in gold on demand..." clause extremely popular with FRN collectors. It is the Dark Green Seal variety. Major condition problems include graffiti in ink and a complete tear - the note is torn in two down the middle.
