A most unusual and intriguing Star Note Error in which the star of the left serial number is open, as ordinarily seen, and the right side star is filled. PCGS-Currency explains this as an overinking of the right serial number but, curiously, the numbers and the star do not appear to be oversaturated as seen with most other overinking errors.
