The National City Bank of Tampa, Florida, Charter #10958, 1902 Plain Back $10.

The most populous bank for nationals in South Florida, and yet there are only 52 notes reported, of which ten or fewer reach the grade of Very Fine. This note is a problem-free VG/Fine [10] with not even a hint of any fraying of the margins and not so much as a pinhole disturbing its surfaces. The stamped signatures are slightly faded, but still readible.

This is the last bank in Tampa to be chartered (in 1917). It issued only large-size notes, all Series 1902PB, as the Great Depression killed it. It went into receivership on May 20, 1932.
