1929 Type One $50, Charter #4374, The Butler County National Bank & Trust Company of Butler, Pennsylvania, B000254A, Very Fine/Extremely Fine. This is the much scarcer Second Title issue of the only bank in town to issue small-size notes.

Before this discovery, only 16 small-size notes with this title were known, nine $50s and seven $100s. All but one of the $50s are of low grade. This example is equal to, or better than, the previously regarded finest-known (D000181A) that sold in 2001 (for $467.50).
