Fr.1919-K, 1993 $1 Dallas FRN, Very Choice CU, PCGS64-PPQ

Dallas, Texas Federal Reserve Note, printed at the BEP facility in Fort Worth, autographed by Lloyd Bentsen former US Senator from Texas and Secretary of the Treasury.

This should be considered a better contemporary courtesy autograph to acquire as Mr. Bentsen served as Treasury Secretary for under two years (January 20, 1993 to December 22, 1994). Wheras Mary Ellen Withrow, Treasurer of the United States, whose printed name also appears on the 1993 Series, was a prolific signer of notes during her tenure, the same cannot be said of Lloyd Bentsen. Notes bearing his signature are vastly more difficult to obtain.

An obvious Gem note graded Very Choice New-64 PPQ in a first generation PCGS holder.
